Struggling to open passenger door

I press my little button on the passanger side door a good few times before it releases the door. Any suggestions?

I've started getting this occasionaly with my drivers door! Press the button a couple of times before it opens.
Also, when i try to get out of the car, i'll press the dashboard button and the cars interior light will flash on and off a few times before the door opens.

My driver's door has sunk a bit though so this may be why it's sometimes struggling to release it!
