Yes ive only gone and sold my brilliant T350. Have i done the right thing, i love the car to bits but the Sag search prompted the sale.

So 4 years 2 T350s and the relationship is over cry and what a relationship, im just hoping that the Sag relationship ( if i can find one i like ) is even better. My god what do i sound like i hope my missus doesnt read this.
Every mile has been a good one too, and the latest car has been a peach :-

Shes not gone quite yet so ill have to enjoy the remaining few miles, i know to watch someone else drive her away will be very hard indeed, i hope its worth it.

But i cant help thinking with so few Sags for sale i maybe tivless for a while, well fingers crossed.

Oh and BTW - the Guy didnt want the JP sports zorst so i'll be putting it in the classifieds. Only done approx 1k miles and has polished as new

Could this be the problem? Taken from the Sunday Times.

Drivers of noisy cars face on-the-spot fines

Police could soon have the technology to pull over noisy vehicles and issue on-the-spot fines. The Department for Transport is planning to develop portable noise meters able to identify cars with exhausts that exceed legal decibel (dB) levels.

Current laws restrict exhaust noise to 74dB on all new mass-produced cars. But exhausts deteriorate and become noisier, and some drivers fit sporty exhaust systems, which are louder.

Authorities have powers against excessively noisy vehicles, but there is no simple way to measure decibel levels. However, Stephen Ladyman, the transport minister, said in a parliamentary answer that the department was considering a quick roadside exhaust-noise test, and would commission research to develop a suitable device.

Believe it of not, some of us are happy with the standard exhaust. You try driving across Europe without going completely deaf/being in discomfort with a 'sports' exhaust.

Actually no he doesnt, i put the original back on for him to test drive. It will be Steves 1st TVR and whilst the standard zorst can be a bit tame it wouldnt offend anyone but sometimes the sports zorst maybe a little loud for some people.

Redspike PH email is down you can contact me at Nick@maxx-waxx.com

Cheers

That would be me then

I decided to give it a try on the standard zorst for a few months at least - I reckon I will have enough to take in with it being my first TVR.

If it doesn't get enough attention though, I will be putting on one. or maybe I will put one on in a few months anyway hehe

Anyway, for the minute, I am just looking forward to actually owning a TVR bounce

I must say there are a few times when I would like a quieter exhaust.
Does anyone know if there are any add-ons which will fit the TVR Power exhausts to reduce noise for long drives?

So what counts as mass produced and what doesn't and what is your chance of arguing this with the Police?

In my book, mass produced involves robots!
In my experience, arguing with the Police involves losing the debate!!! argue
