Thanks for the compliment Hollow-p.
Thats what I like about Tvr ownership,I have not had a negative responce to any of the 3 Tiv's we have had and the Sagaris especially I think because of the colour draws crowds like a movie star. Even with me getting out people still think it is awesome.

Nick, You have got a great deal there,Chameleon orange is fantastic, was on my shortlist.
You won't regret getting the Sag, We swapped our T350C for ours and the difference in handling and just general confidence in it's abilities are very noticeable.Steering is less darty and ride smoother, turn in is just as good, engine feels stronger with greater torque, when run in it pulls like a train, accelleration just seems relentless.

Only gripe I have with ours is the service bonnet, It has never come off or anything but my confidence in it is just not there. You should see it at 135mph (on track of course ) It looks very close to "ejecting". never has but I still don't like it. I wish we could retrofit the new style bonnet as seen on the Sagaris at the motor show.
Anyway enjoy it,I know you will.

Pete.

Thanks pete, its just that wait now, still this is the best time waiting for a new car so i'll try to enjoy it.
I would think that a sag will draw a crowd whatever colour, i cant imagine in that colour. Im sure i would get a bit self consicious

Enjoy!! Forget the bonnet issue, understand this was 05 models. But just fit a bit of neoprene adhesive sponge on the back edge and two places towards the front where it sits and it don't even flap on the track. Best colour chosen, and you will not have to clean your wheels!

front and back edge of which bit ? Is it the service bonnet thats the problem, not the main bonnet

Pete, we can retro fit a later bonnet for you if you want. Personally I actually like the service hatch, its funky - oops, sorry Jenny wrong choice of word! - and kewl. OK, so it isnt the most practical thing in the world, but what the hell. I thought the motor show updated bonnet looked horrible, now if it had opened at the front end as a proper clamshell..*that* would have looked damn fine Bugger of a job to do like, but it would have looked good

With the service bonnet fitted, check if there is any forward backward movement within the main bonnet aperture, fit neoprene adhesive sponge on the back edge of the aperture to take out any slop.
Its likely you will see the paint worn in the positions the service bonnet rests on the main bonnet flanges, again put a strip of sponge here, It worked on mine and stops the rattles and stops flaping at high speed.

Hi Dave.
I have no dought you could convert to the new style bonnet but with the colour of my car being made from unobtainium or at best massivepricehyke I think it would probably be unafordableium.
Plus the fact my paintwork is immaculate it would be a shame to rip into it.
Worth remembering for the future though.
Must get up your way soon, I would like to see what you are up to.

Pete.

Dave,

Can you expand on the later style bonnet you are offering. I have seen the later motorshow bonnet, mine is an late 05, is there a version in between??

Hilti, we arent "offering" anything per se, just if ppl want something done, we will do it. As I understand Pete was talking about the one piece opening hinged bonnet. If ppl wanted that as opposed to their service bonnet arrangement then we could do a conversion for them. I personally am no great lover of the one piece design TVR came up with, Id like to see a front opening clamshell arrangement, but I suspect it would be a bugger of a job to do and rather expensive to a customer for not *that* much gain. But hell, our business is bespoke design and TVRs are about individuality, uniqueness and doing things via the lesser travelled path, so if somebody wants to pay for that why not?
