"Psshht"... air 'escaping' when turning the steering wheel
Discussion
As above really, drove the car home from a friends last night and each time I turned the steering wheel there was a sound like there was air escaping from by the wheel
... more pronounced when stationary or at slow speeds.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what this may be ... is it serious
I'm taking the car in to have a couple of sensors replaced and will mention it then, just wondering if I can expect to be told t.a.d.t.s... only i've never noticed it before!?
As an aside, are the vents (open / closed) operated by hand? Couldn't find reference to it in the manual (but I was looking at it in the dark last night!)
Thanks in advance for any guidance!

Thanks for the heads-up guys...
... would PAS sound like pressurised air escaping, or more of an electronic sound!? This was very 'airy'!! Do any other owners get this and is it something that happens intermittently, like I say i've never noticed it before

Had the same thing, took it to HHC and they checked it out and said its fine. This was months ago and its still makes the 'psssssss' noise but no problems.
