Just took the car out of the garage, and noticed that there was a spurt of water on the floor corresponding to where the nearside exhaust was. The other side was dry.

I did wash the car yesterday, but pretty sure that I didn't put the hosepipe up either exhaust..

Is it possible to get more condensation on one pipe? Car started fine, has been running fine (other than feels like it needs it's 18k service) and is not using any oil or water.

Thoughts please?

Maybe it was on a slant.

I started mine in the drive yesterday and all the condensation came from the offside exhaust.

Yep. Happened a couple of times.

And I'm now up for a rebuild. Possibly no connection at all (I'm sure more intelligent people on here will comment) but the problems I had with the valve clearances closing up have continued, so there's something wrong in the gubbins (see - I'm non-technical) of the engine which mean that it needs to be stripped and put back together again. With different, better bits.

Ho-hum. Hopefully the warranty situation will be sorted out, otherwise it's a wadge of cash that I can ill afford.

I get this, normally I put it down to condensation and from washing the car, because I noticed that often when rinsing off some goes in easily. I am at 17k!

As I said, probably two unconnected things.

Still, fingers crossed that Mr Oxley will actually DO something with regards to paying for warranty work. So I might have a car for Rockingham that I can take on the track.
