well they told me a mid 40's bloke owned it before nothing about a x demo car they said it only had 1 owner. do you really think it is the same car? i would really appreciate your thoughts.
NK is a newcastle reg which ties in with Hexham, and the interior is the same. It had about 1400 miles when i test drove it 18 months ago
I suppose its cost/risk/benefit/preference at the end of the day, each to their own. I bought an '03 350c recently as 1 owner supplied and serviced by same dealer thoughout. I prefered not to go for well traded examples - e.g. 3 owners in 4 years, etc. Doesn't mean to say these cars are ragged but it seems to me it introduces another element of risk on vehicle already risky. I would go on known verifiable history every time, after colour, obviously

is it a bad idea buying a ex demo car and also 1 owner? will that really effect re-sale when i come to sell it
being the 3rd owner?
being the 3rd owner?
My tamora has been a show car, EVO mag tested, and a demo before I bought it, so far no major problems except it needs a new oil pressure sendor (don't they all)It's not leaking so I just put up with it for now. So I would say that buying a demo is no worse than buying a private car. High number of owners suggest to me that people can't really afford to run and keep up with the maintenance plus the insurance ontop. People don't think sometimes what it actually cost to run a car like these. "A TVR is not just for Xmas"

i bought a demo Tuscan form Hexham HC and no problems whatsoever. You could argue it gets looked after very well if it's a demo - especially by the guys at Hexham...
Maybe. Hexham let me take the car out myself for a test drive, and although i didnt thrash it as i already had a T350 so knew what the performance was like, some might have
