Quick question all,

Probably a simple question for those in the know, on the T350 the exhaust manifolds appear to merge into one pipe (for about 2 feet)then split off again into two, do the pipes actually merge into one or are they separate inside the one pipe ??

think its the front 3 cylinders into one cat, the rear 3 cylinders into the other cat, then the two pipes from the cats to the rear of the car.

Ok that makes sense but when you follow the pipes after the cats they appear to mould into one pipe then split into two again, that doesn't make sense to me, wouldn't they be speparate pipes all along ?? meaning that cylinders 123 feed for example the drivers side exhaust and cylinders 456 feed the passenger side pipe ??

Thats great thanks for the info, I don't suppose there is a way of telling which manifold e.g bank 123 or 345 goes to which exhaust pipe ??

Hi DJC,

basically from the passenger side exhaust I am getting a very different engine note than that from the other side (like a rattling burble). The car appears to run fine with no noticeable difference in performance etc. I have plugged in the software and everything appears to be fine except on the fault code page I get AFR bad on banks 456.
What I was trying to establish with the above questions is, if the exhaust manifold are banked eg 123 cylinders serves the drivers side exhaust and 456 serves the passenger side exhuaust, then the difference in engine note from the other side would be consistent with the software suggesting that there is a problem with 456. ?

DJC you seemed to have the inside track and access to many parts are you an indy ??

First thing to know...the software is a pile of shite, written by a pillock who wouldnt know standards if they bitch slapped them with a Haddock.

Ill email you the specific answer later on, Ive got a bar b to go and do now!
