this is a on growing question for a few of us.what part of the vin number is it showing that your car is number ????

Hi there, the last part of the VIN is a sequential production number. So for example 5B001370 would have been the 370th car produced in 2005. There were no different chassis numbers by model they were just given the next number in sequence as their chassis was produced. The factory obviously kept a record of what chassis was what model. Mine was 2005, and the number was 278 registered 1st September.
