Hi Folks

I have recently bought my first TVR, its a moonraker black Tamora and I am absolutely loving it!! Still have to pinch myself everytime I have it out, cant get over the savage acceleration and the noise!!! Do you ever get bored of that????

I have gone from a boxster to the TVR and it is like night and day!!

I live in Northumberland/Scottish Borders - are there any other TVR owners nearby????

Mark

Cheers, I am really pleased with it, it has obviously been looked after well!!!

Were you the last owner? How long did you own her for? and more importantly what did you trade her in for??

now that is a stunning looking Tam! moonraker black really suits the Tam, as do the anthracite spiders IMO, a great combination indeed!
theres not many other cars that have the same sort of "wow" factor as much as a nice Tam does IMO!
enjoy it and have fun! thumbup

Hello there and welcome to Tamora ownership.

It is utterly utterly magic. Every day - even if its just a quick peek and not even a drive!

Picture of the car when I had it.
When I bought it from Dream Machines it had red & black bison interior which I didn't like. I noticed join lines on the front & rear wings so I took it to the factory. Apparently it had faulty resin in those joins so it was re jointed & fully repainted under warranty. It was just about a year old. Ray Wilding at Bristol Ave was still not happy with the result so it was fully stripped again rejointed & repainted . As the car was basically stripped I decided to have a complete retrim with black & cream leather, new carpets , new hood & new front screen (£3000). Almost a new car! I am ultra fussy about my cars as you may be able to tell.
It looked brilliant when it was finished , the only reason I sold it was lack of air con. - in hindsight I wish I had had it retro fitted. It was a good car.
I sold it back to DM & bought a T350 kept that about a year & now have another Tamora, this time mystic black pearl with a factory fitted Red Rose package & air con. I really like Tams - do prefer the soft top to the T350.
Hope you will enjoy the car - I did - if you want any more info just contact me either on here or by e mail from my profile.Cheers Chris

Forgot to say we had full Paintshield protection fitted in Grantham after the repaint. Excellent product I had it put on my latest Tam too.
