i have a 55 plate sagaris can abs be fitted does any one no sick of one wheel locking up under braking

May be worth waiting to see what TVR provide on the suggested american spec Sagaris. If they design a ABS system (which i think they'll need along with Airbags), then it may be an easier installation than going down a custom toute.

You shouldn't be locking up a single wheel on breaking, are your brakes OK / when was the last time you checked the tyre presures?

It took me three goes to grasp its true meaning also.


Does worry me though that you are locking wheels when breaking. On purpose?

You don't need ABS to sort this. If one wheel is locking up under braking, it won't after a dealer or indie with the right equipment adjusts the corner weights (by adjusting the spring seats, preferably with a driver sat in the car)

There is/was an abs system of sorts trialled on the Sagaris by the factory, originally in conjunction with carbon ceramics.

A system could be retofitted, but you might not like the cost!
