2006 T350 - Audio Head Unit

i'm picking up my new 2006 T350 in about 5 days and i wanted to get a dension ipod kit for it, but i don't know what the head it has in it, what did TVR put in as std can any one help..

TBH you will get whatever model was lying around in the factory at the time you car was built (not registered). No i'm not joking... they bought job lots of various head units, speakers etc, and fitted them to whatever car was being built (therefore not model dependant). As sales dwindled they had lot's of stock when 2005/2006 cars were built - so the chances are you will get some sort of Pioneer head unit, and the speakers will be Clarion in the rear (and front if the car has the 'front upgrade speakers' fitted) and NXT in the front.

My 55 plate T350, built December 05 and registered January 06, came with an Alpine head unit. Very nice it is too.

I subsequently fitted the iPod attachment for it.

Hope whomever has bought my car from DreamMachines is enjoying it!

My '05 T350 has a Pioneer unit. Some time later in 2005 N.S. ordered the unit upgraded to an Alpine one. No way to be sure they were still fitting those when yours was built, mind !

Mine (Jan 2006) has a rather nice, if basic, Alpine unit. Radio reception is pretty crap though!

cheers for that i think mine is a pioneer from doing further investigation which is a bit of a pain as dension don't do kits for them. i will have to look there ipod kit:

i just hope it has a IP-Bus connection, or i will have to dump the head unit...

I recently had changed original pioneer head unit for alpine mp3 in an '03 car. Was told the iPod adapter might not fit behind the unit. Check before you buy an adapter.
