the water vanishes ....

Checked fluid levels on '03 t350 after yesterdays chatsworth blast. Signs of pressurised water leak on bonnet underside and around expansion tank. Topped up with about 250ml and all seems fine now, but is this a sign? Expansion cap? Thermostat? Sensor?

Anyone else had this? I'd be grateful for advice/experiences

perhaps an issue but would think that over filling in the first instance could have been the issue made worse by the heat generated by track time, what temps were you seeing? - its also possible that the cap has issues too and thats a sub £10 part I believe.
