Had some little stone chips form a f lorry driver on my windscreen to have fixed

Guy there very friendly, said he could even organize a screen from power, but then checked the windscreen, give it a , said chip is not going through laminate, will not crack, no fixing necessary- although he could have sold me a new screen...
