Anyone got any hot little diy fitting tips?

mind your knuckles and have spare nuts and bolts available, probably worth getting a can of wd40 to soak the originals before you try and remove, when I replaced the rear box hangers / mounts they seemd glued on gave them a coating and left for a few hours and they flew off.

Yup, beeen there before on other cars. I'm armed with good penetrating oil and the rear valence bolts are already soaking

Might be obvious but put the back end on axle stands makes life so much easier .

Agree

I replaced the hex socket screws with stainless steel ones from screwfix (only a few £
The bolts at the front of the diffuser are difficult unless you have the car high enough to get your fingers over the top.

I remade the middle hanger with 10mm stainless threaded rod as my original broke twice.

It was worth it

Well, its on and sounds raucous. Took a good couple of hours as brackets were welded on and needed a lot of leverage plus some help to get the 'box on the tail pipes, but everything else pretty eay. This evenings test drive was marred, however, by speedo stopping working grumpy
