sag v t350 worth the extra 10k
Discussion
In the current climate both of these cars seem like irresistable bargains,im just pondering whether to grab a bargain t350 for around 20-22k or to stretch myself a bit further and go for one of the 30-32k sags for sale at the moment,I know a few pher's have recently made the change maxx waxx being one of them and a few others have talked about moving from 350 to sag, would love to hear from anyone who has made the change or driven both, is the sag worth the extra dosh or is the 350 simply too good to ignore.

I doubt if you'll get a 2005 T350 for 22K. Suggest the differnce used is less than 10K.
Second hand differences year on year, the Sagaris is worth the extra if you can live with the bling. New? I thought the 12-14k difference was too much for the extra.

My personal thought is that it comes down to taste with these two cars. The Sag probably does handle a little better and probably goes a little quicker but they are very similar. Where they do differ hugely is in the actual poise on the road.
I find the T350 to be much more a subtle look that blends better coming from Griff ownership. The Sag is quite a big visual step too far for me personally but it is very much horses for courses and I certainly love seeing them on the road.
My advice is to ignore the spec and price differences look at the two next to each other and ask yourself which shape and design suits you and makes you happiest.
When I bought my T350 I thought the Sag was a step to far both in terms of style and money but now I'm not so sure.
I'm considering a Sag but not started a serious search yet - Those I've seen advertised which I like are >40K so some serious thinking to be done.
BTW, does anyone think the few "new" Sags currently be advertised by dealers at >52K are likely to sell at that price ? I imagine the owner is looking at a very heavy drop in value straight away (more than normal for tvr).

Its also worth remembering that there were a helluvalot less Sags produced than T350's, which may help thier residual values be stronger in the long run.
125 Sagaris according to Daftlad
but also only about 230 T350s apparently.
So both quite rare for TVR's.
Which is nice.
Do we know how many t350t versus t350c ??

Yes except Rpa.janwell and a couple of others have written a few off and Daftlad is secretly trying to buy every single one ever produced.

If you want that OTT factor, the sag's for you. Be prepared! If you leave it parked up people will take lots of photos and swarm round it like a honey pot. Some will even try swopping their girl friends for the car, this happen to me last Friday. No I kept the car.
The smart thing to do would have been to swap test drives...

Sarah always felt very intimiated actually if I left her in the car in a car park to pop in somewhere for a few minutes. I know a lot of you all enjoy the attention and think it is quite amusing, but do not always assume it will go down well with the other half. Mine used to hate the attention we got and what other ppl would do to either play silly buggers with us or stick around and try and take pics whilst driving, etc.

Do it Paul!
Nothing like ganging up on someone is there !
I knew if I went in kiefhs, even as a passenger, I'd have to buy one so I decided against it.
If only I didn't have the t350 it'd be easier.
Think I better avoid you guys at the next meet !
