perhaps i am slightly mad, perhaps not...

it's this one:

www.pistonheads.com/sales/158390.htm

still it seems like a good idea... and norfolk is such a long way away to go and have a nose. apparently a poster on this forum used to own it (DJC?) don't know if that 's a good thing or a bad thing, but it's a bit late now!

i also just bought an elise 160 last wednesday, so need to offload that. anyone know who wants one?

i test drove a sagaris at henley heritage on saturday, and spent today looking (not very far clearly). all i can say is that the sag is, in my humble opinion, the best car i have ever driven, and i have driven / owned some decent cars.

bring it on...

I had my eye on that sag also, its a great testament to the sagaris for you to describe it as the best car you,ve driven considering you have previously owned a gt2 clubsport, enjoy.

I did the same last year with my TAM. Bought it unseen, and when it arrived it was as described, mint. Incidently I bought a sag today. Cant wait to blast it. Whats the deal with the elise? Why?

Indeed my ex car Rob. Matt is a good bloke to buy off.

Happy to chat about it offline if you want, or search on here, plenty of threads/posts by me about the car. A fantastic vehicle.

Never buy a green car! Only joking, a mate of mine used to say that. A guy in our areas got the same colour sag, enjoy you will. congratulations on a good choice.

You need have no fears about buying this car unseen IMO. The chap that currently owns it is an enthusiats's enthusiast, and he takes care of his car to a ridiculously high degree of dilligence. It's been properly fettled, serviced and fussed over, and Matt treats it like one of his cats (and they all have trust funds, their own appartments and an executive canteen) so I think it's fair to say that the car has been mollycoddled. Last time I saw it a few weeks ago, it looked immaculate and sounded awesome. I had a Z4 Coupe with me, and the Sagaris made it look like a big, fat bloated pig.

It's a very, very, very tidy looking car. Best to nab it now before Matt gets seller's remorse. Congrats on the new purchase.

They say green is unlucky where i'm from, with it all going back to the potato famine, and hapless Irish folk having to use grass for everything - for food, to dye their clothes etc etc. It sort of gave green a bad rap as it was associated with being somewhat extremely down on your luck. Probably explains why green is considered unlucky in the 'States, as a lot of Irish made their way to the US at around this time and no doubt took the story with them. Not sure how this would be relevant to a TVR Sagaris unless the purchaser is reduced to eating his lawn in able to afford one. Anyway - Matt's car is only green sometimes depending on the light.

It's a stunning car, sounds like nothing else.

Matt rejected loads when he was looking for one, and waited ages for it to be just right (perfect) before collecting.

Well done.

no, i haven't heard it, seen it, anything.... i am in a permanent state of excitement at the moment. the anticipation of getting this car is like nothing i have ever felt. it even beats the excitement of getting my first handheld spaceinvaders game in the early eighties. that made me so excited i was physically sick...

i can't quite believe the emotions i am going through, after all, it is only a car, but as mentioned earlier a car like no other i have ever driven.

unreal

I'd be interested in your thoughts on the car in comparison with the GT2 when you get it.

Enjoy thumbup

If i remembers correctly, You're new car was featured in an Evo mag test against the new Marcos about a year ago, if you track down the mag, there's some great pictures.

I mean, you could even ask the bloke who took it on the test or who wrote the 2 piece auto-journals write up about it!
