I am planning to drive the T350 down to Le Mans this yeardriving
What preparation and spare parts would you recommend I take with me?

The car is going for a 6k service with Torque RVT next week, what else can/should I do to prepare the car?

I am plan on taking:
Oil
Coolant
100Amp Main fuse
Jump Leads (TVR)
Small tool kit

Is there anything else I should take??

Spare set of keys. Mine went on the blink last year at Le Mans and couldn't lock the car!

AA relay card is always a bonus, but I doubt you will need anything.. If its hot and dry Le Man is a dust bowl so a bucket, sponge and leather wont go a miss if you want to keep your PJ in tip top condition.

I took two cans of tyre weld - didn't bother with the lamps and neither do many in my experience.

Thanks for the replies; I have already arranged the European RAC cover and I carry two cans of tyre weld in the boot anyway. Good tip taking a bucket, sponge and leather.

Taking spare bulbs is a joke, anyone that has tried changing any of the front light bulbs will know its not a 5min road side job.

Ben, what line of work are you in? What engineering Discipline?
I will keep a sharp eye out for another black T350.

You need to have your original documents - V5, MOT and Insurance. Copies are not acceptable.

Also take a first aid kit (compulsary) and a reflective vest is advisable.

I'm going over to Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Andora and then back up to le'man to watch the racing etc in 2 weeks(Can't wait!). Just wandering how much the european RAC cover is? I'm already a member of the RAC, don't know if that makes any difference?

We will have to try and arange a TVR meet over there!?

You should take some bulbs anyway as the law will expect ypu to have them if asked.
Warning Triangle & first aid kit are a must + i did fit the lens reflectors on my last trip to Paris on mine but am note 100% sure that i have put them in the correct place anyway?

Looks like we have a few t350's making the trip driving thumbup

Somthing to cover the gearstick with, as if you have to park the car in the sun you won't be able to touch the thing hehe

As others have said, warning triangle, coolant (lots, just in case), dilute window cleaner, jump leads (again, you never know), gaffer tape, tie-wraps, brake fluid, set of allen keys, engine oil.

False plates, false ID, credit card & money.

Sorted.
