I've had leaking through the door that side, so I'm expecting to see the solenoid a bit damp/corroded.

Its the little black (door control box in footwell behind the carpet its on velcro pull the plug and clean the pins use some contact grease then see if it works.I'll investigate the solenoid in the footwell (assuming I can find/get to it) but are there any other things to investigate?

Well, good old TVRs. Door has started working again. I think it must be the doofer in the footwell playing up, so I'll dig it out and clean it this weekend.
