Is the computer supposed to stay on the screen you left it on? Everytime I start it it goes back to the basic water temp/fuel level layout.
It is just a bit annoying having to flick through the screens evertime I start up.

no it's not supposed to stay on the screen you last left it on,i do agree it can be a pain having to flick through to your favourite screen!

Are you sure? The manual says the screen that appears when you turn the ignition on should be the screen that was displayed when you turned it off? Mine doesn't do it either by the way!

What the manual says and what it does are not necessarily the same thing!

I had the same problem with mine once but after disconnecting the battery for a couple of minutes it has never happened again. David

Also, my rev lights have a mind of their own somtimes. It is only in the higher gears they work correctly. Anyone else? Maybe the battery disconnection will help that also?????

When cold (less than 40degC) the sagaris red lamps will come on at 4000 if that helps

Is there any way the Tam/350 code can be upgraded to the Saggy - the feature of lowering the shift lights when cold is an excellent one. I've set my green shift to 3K and treat it as my 'cold shift' light, it would be pretty cool if this could be made a function of the oil temp...

Really? What version of software do you have? Just shows I haven't ever done that!

To check this on the Sagaris; warm up the engine in the normal way then disconnect the sensor plug on the oil tank, then you will get green3600, yellow3800, red4000rpm, and also oil temp sensor fault code 129 will be on pod. This does not protect you from over revving when cold though

EDITED: The screens on the sagaris NEVER return to as last selected

I can confirm that my 2003 T350 has NEVER remembered the last screen you were on and always defaults to the standard screen after cycling the ignition. I have had a couple of different batteries in the car and new engines etc. and this has never made a difference.

Also the shift lights on the T350 stay at whatever you set them to on the dash, they do not alter based on temperature of the engine/oil.

I would be interested to know if newer versions of the dash software do have these features though!

Only 5 mins Alan! You need to do the IT at my work place. 9 mins sometimes before my laptop has finished booting with all its network thingy bobs.

Back on topic, my 2003 T350 does exactly as Nick said - always starts on the default screen and the change lights have stayed where I set them.

My rev light sometimes all come on at about 5500rpm even though they are set to start at 6500rpm. Maybe I need someone to look at it. Sometimes the power surges a bit near the top end aswell.

Just curious..

Does anyone know what powers the 350 (and I assume Sagaris) dash, what processor or microcontroller?

As part of my job I do alot of development on those sorts of devices (including things like CAN buses, etc..)

Curious to see if anyone has access to the software!

Take a look at the pic in this thread

The PCB has PIC17C766 on the silkscreen. I believe DJC has mentioned in another thread that he was looking at re-doing the display system. If i had time I'd probably consider likewise, but i hate PICs so would be looking to do it from scratch with something i prefer!

I`ve done alot of work on the PIC series - its a pity no-one has access to the source code for these chips, would be nice to customise the dash smile
