Digital display on dash playing up……..
Discussion
Don’t know if anyone else has had this problem? I am loosing some of the image on my Tamora digital dash display. It has diagonal lines across the screen and as a result it is not displaying most of the information. Fortunately I can read the petrol and some of the oil temp display, rest has blanked out.
No idea if this is due to faulty connections or the screen has gone. No idea what the cost of a replacement is likely to be however am hoping it can be fixed. Alternative is..has anyone fitted dials to reed engine information?
Any help most appreciated….thanks

The dash ECU is down by your right foot (when in the car) behind a velcro panel. The velcro theme continues in the way the ECU is fixed to the footwell wall carpet. From what I recall it is about the size of a small box of Black Magic.
May be possible it is a loose connection, also may not. However, loose connection here will be the easiest/cheapest thing to check first.......

If all fails I will take the last piece of advice from mikesum
“I WOULD RECOMMEND IGNORING THE BLACK LINES ON THE DISPLAY. It's a pretty minor fault”
I know if I mess with electrics and electronics I will spend the next month going back to the same fault and ending up frustrated.... with a loose and rattling pod.
