Off to Le Mans on Wednesday morning bounce but I'm unsure what the tyre pressures should be on my T350 given it will be fully laden with tent, etc. I usually run 24psi all round.

Any advice greatly appreciated as I've not made the trip in the Tiv before.

Thanks

Unless your tent is a circus big-top I'd have thought you'd be fine with 24psi

When touring round France earlier in the year, with fully loaded Tam, followed the manual recomendation of 32 (I think) and seemed fine to me.

32 yikes I bet it wasn't.

Maybe go to 26 if you've got a lot of weight on since its mostly straight line fast roads. However, if its hot the tyre pressure will be up a few PSI anyway.

May be I was wrong with 32... I just set them to what the manual says, fully loaded...

There are some hand books that still quote tyre pressures for the Tamora on 16" wheels. 32 psi loaded seems a reasonable pressure in those circumstances. 24 normal, 26 with a load, or leave them at 24 if your wearing 18s.smile

I bet it was!! Just checked the manual, for the 18' wheels, for sustained high speed or fully laden it says 32 psi!

You ever tried driving on 32 PSI? (cold pressure, so hot will be higher still). Ice rink comes to mind.

Fully laden, two passengers, did 1400 miles, and not slow miles either, was fine, didnt notice any real difference from the normal pressure.
