Unfortunately I am going to sell the Sagaris.
I didn't think we would ever part with it but I just don't have the time to use it and it is an expensive luxury that sits in the garage waiting for me,but I don't come.
When we go out we normally need more room or need to take the dog.
So the beast will be at The tvr centre from friday, we will miss it dearly but just cannot justify having a toy worth that much money.
Never had any problems,no warranty work nothing.

So if you are looking for the best kept Sagaris hardly run in and in the best colour you know where to go.
Be nice if someone on here bought it.

Pete.

" expensive luxury that sits in the garage waiting for me, but I don't come ".......mmmmm, that sure sounds like an ex-girlfriend of mine. And I thought she left me due to the damp and smell of petrol!

Thats what happens when you live life in the fast lane, sooner or later the over indulgence of youth catches up with you.

Unfortunately I am at that time of life.
(with cars and women).

Pete.
P.S.

Sorry forthright, will still be there but alas no Sagaris.

Well the Sag is at The Tvr Centre now so anyone wanting the best, not the cheapest Sagaris get over there and have a look.
Don't want to take the michael linking to the website but you all should know how to find it!!

Lot of talk on here at the moment with people trying to find the cheapest possible and I can understand that, but I honestly think when spending these sorts of money paying a bit extra for something special is always worth it.
You soon regret the "bargain" when it starts to give trouble and ends up costing as much as the "dear one".

Pete, sorry to hear you are parting company with the 'Gris.

You will need some form of therapy/compensatory psychological treatment/placebo.

On second thought, that just won't be enough!!

All the best, R.

Hi Dan.
I originally had Tvr power put their back box replacement pipes on but had them taken back off pretty quick as it was just too loud, not even a nice load, just noisy.
Will send you a few of the cd pics.

I am in the market for a Sagaris, although it is a shame your sag is up for sale now as this is a good month or so earlier than I had been planning.

Although I do have couple of quick questions if you dont mind.
(I apoligise if these are obvious questions to TVR folk wink

1. How much warentee is left on the car?
2. As much as I love the colour is it extremely expensive to repair if needed?
3. Are the TVR pipes you mention included in the sale?
4. Can the tracker subscription be swapped over to a new owner without having to pay again?
5. Is Cascade indigo a TVR colour (sorry if this is obvious) or did you paint it yourself? Same goes for the wheels?

Thanks for your help
Lee

Hi Lee

1.The Tvr warranty is to all intents and purposes gone, as Tvr are gone!!
It would have had 18months still left.
"The TVR Centre Barnet" will be putting 12months warranty on it themselves, which I have to pay for.
2.The colour is very expensive as it was a £3500 option. It is around £1000.00 per litre.
3.The back box by-pass pipes were taken back for a refund. ( believe me you don't want them )
4.The tracker is transferable no problem, you have to pay a yearly subscription which will be at the end of January, from memory it is around £120.00
5.Cascade indigo is a Tvr colour and was mixed and painted by Kevin (Gerbil)the main man at the time in the paintshop. He with some of the other guy's from TVR have now set-up their own business dealing with the TVR's and is contactable on Piston-heads here.
So no problem getting any repairs done.
The wheels I specified when I ordered the Sagaris and the colour is "Moonracker Black Mettalic" easily sorced.

That about covers it I think.
Anything else just ask.

Pete.
