Hello lads

I'm sure this has been asked before but I seem to be getting louder 103 at the last count and can not get anywhere near 100dba for local trackdays

Anyone know where I can sort quiet exhaust cans - add ons don't fit as the cans are oval -

Buy some standard ones. They will give you 99-100db.

Try standard tuscan cans, they are quiter than the standard Saggy items , when fitted to a saggy.

Interesting one;

I think there may be three different engine to backbox exhaust sizes??
2.125" NB
2.250" NB
2.375" NB

With Cat or DE-Cat

Same back box on all? (unless straight thro's)

Then different cans

Mine runs less than 98dB(A)(Donington limit)

Problem is they are standard ones !!

Tuscan cans would look a bit wierd on a sag are they easy to swap over ?

does anyone know of any bungs or ways of reducing noise on my T350 for track days, it is de-catted and power sports pipes which seems to be the loudest combination, not my intention as it had the sports pipes on the car when i bought it but im loving the de-cats, sounds like the T400 racer thats on a video lurking on ph tv somewhere.

im guessing its over/around 110db as it hurts ears if standing next to the rear when revved, i know changing the rear sports pipes would help but i have not heard any other tail pipes to compare.

I put some sharknose cans on from blueflame for trackdays. They get the noise down to 98db and they also supply db killers to fit in the end tubes, brings it down to under 95db. They cost around £650.
