Tamora - Service & Warranty near London

Ok, I know this topic keeps on coming up - but things keep on changing - so its time for me to do 12k service on my 55 reg Tamora near London.

Supposedly I still have a 3 yr warranty on the car???...???

So my questions are:

- do I purchase a full wear and tear autoprotect warranty or self assure (service it at a reputable indie and put the savings into a rainy day account - especially with Powers 2yr warranty on rebuilds)

and

- where do i service my car (a range of contenders from TVR London £95/hr & £800 (for a 12k service inc tappets) to Offords £35/hr & £500 (for a 12k service inc tappets), plus others like TVR centre, austec, topcats, leven, racing green, dream machines...

This is not meant to 'stoke up' the hot debate on warranties again - but views on whether or not to get a warranty and where best to service it - quality of work more important, but it seems senseless to spend almost double on the same service, non?

Think you got your facts wrong I had my Tuscan serviced at London TVR last week 12 k service , with the tappets as well , got charged £65.00 per hour , speak to Andy there Service manager he did a great deal for me . Also the car was fully valeted when I collected it at no extra cost. They do the warranties with Autoprotect but vehicles under three years old cannot be covered.

hi - thanks for responding - i did call to get the prices before i posted - but obviously i did not try hard enough to get a discount - i was told it was £802 + VAT for a 12k service, not sure who i spoke to - but i shall give them a call and see if they can match your deal - thank you.

if you dont mind me asking what did they charge you for the actual 12k service?
