just wandering what the temp should be when driving and in stationary traffic, mine is at 90 pretty much all the time. is this right?

yes Oil will eventually reach same temp.
On v.hot days - or track - up to 100, 110 max.

T350 sits at 90' unless on track where it rises a bit

seen following in sagaris;
my usual rule of thumb 15-20 deg between water and oil

15degC ambient
90-94 water; normal
65-70 oil; normal

in traffic
90-98 water
80-88 oil

driven hard 30deg ambient
up to 124 water
up to 104 oil

Varley - 124 deg on the coolant. That seems a little too hot for my liking. Anything above 105 and I'd be worrying.

Yes, not normal for me; saw this on warmest day 30+degC on circuit in july 06 without incident.
but the water and oil temp sensors recorded a fault until reset.
