How the hell am I going to sleep tonight with the prospect of driving my new beast home from edinburgh tomorrow, thought I was excited before I collected my griff a few years ago but this is something else, after months of pondering about whether I should get a 350 or a sag I feel sure I have made the right decision,Just hope the weather is kind for me to give it a good blast down the A74/M6, thanks foir all the advice/ tips off all the fellow tivers.
Ian.

Well what can I say other than that was one of the most memorable drives of my life, finally picked the sag up from dumfermline at about 2pm and the weather was looking dodgy although the rain hadn't started, within 30 mins it started bucketting down and remained that way for approx 170 miles until I got around preston and the rain stopped, the thing that amazed me about the car was how composed and solid it felt in the pissing rain, in the griff I would of been really nervous over 60 but the sag felt composed at 80 leptons plus, I was worried that coming from a pre-cat v8 the sound woul;d be a disappointment, but I couldn't of been more wrong it sounds amazing and thats with a standard exhaust on,I can already feel the start of a very long love affair.
Roll on tomorrow.

Brilliant - had the same when I picked up the first Sag from Henley - M40 and M25 were dry - and then bucketed down all the way to York. If it had been the Chim or the Cerb I probably would have stayed over.

So - name change to Luv Sags ?

Yep, had the same dilema and made the same CORRECT choice. I take it you bought the starmist grey car as it was the only one advertised in Scotland. Looked very nice on the pics. I reckon they are a future classic!

Hi Thomas,
yep that was the one I bought, the pictures didn't do it justice it is stunning in the flesh, just gotta sort out the stone chips on the bonnet and maybe armourfend it, yours looks absolutely stunning, thinkl you may be right about them becoming a classic.

Lucky boy you one hell of a car, I remember the very first sag to be built, our Griff was in for service and good old David Comming took my wife and I to see it they were still putting the interior in, it was not quite finished. It looked absolutely stunning. still prefer MY Tam RR though its a little gem.
There's nout better than soft top motoring IMHO If you could take the lid of a Saggi I'd have one tomorrow.
