Just noticed when vacuuming out the Sag that the carpet in the passenger footwell was a bit wet. I was out in a down poor about a week ago and was wondering if there is a common leak point in this area.

My Tamora used to have the same problem.
I found that the seal around the door opening didn't actually meet the bodywork at the front bottom corner so when it rained water was running down the seal and into my footwell!

Luckily:
1: It was just a small gap (smaller than a 5p coin;
2: Blu-tack is malleable (spelling??) enough to fill a 5p-coin-sized gap; and
3: My car's blue so I didn't have to worry about a colour clash rolleyes

If its a bigger gap maybe you could use bathroom sealant?????

I'm pleased to say that the footwell has been bone dry since.

Checked door seal and does'nt seem to be the problem. Any other ideas as to how water is getting into the passenger footwell?

HI this could be the problem under bottom of door are three round plastic bungs either stick a screw driver and make a hole in each one or better still remove them ..
The doors can get water in which fills to the door seal and leaks in behind the carpet.It solved the problem for me hope this helps,don't know why TVR fitted them anyway.

regards Chris.

we had this persistently for months, dealer replaced door seal, but it turned out to be the seal around the windscreen - check the bottom corners of the windscreen seal each side - you may find its loose and you can lift it up...some black mastic or silkaflex in there and all around will sort it out

I found both footwells got wet if I parked facing uphill as the drainage points are at the front of the door and when parked the water accumalates at the back and spills into the car. Making sure that the car was parked on the flat or slightly downhill solved this problem.

I found parking uphill lets water in the car too. I went away for two weeks (leaving the car facing uphill) and there was a big puddle of water behind the driver seat to the point nearly filled a bucket getting it out. Parking on the flat or down hill I've never had a problem. Does anyone know the cause/fix for this?
