Anyone ever struggled with the exhaust clamp that fits around where the cats meet the main 3 branch headers. My cats keep popping out of the clamp, and I have never heard of it happening before.

Clamps seem OK but guess I might try replacing them.

Trouble is every time it happens the engine seems to gou out of tune ant it costs me to get it retuned.

Three possible reasons for this. Either the mating flange faces are badly aligned and the clamp isn't fully engaged or the mating flange diameters are different. Standard flanges are 126.5mm diameter and and Tuscan S / Sagaris flanges are 129.5 diameter.

Also the M6 threads on the clamps my be stripped and are coming loose.

Might be sensible to check the engine mounts too.If the lump is wandering about the engine bay

that would stress the exhaust system!
