Whenever I go to a TVR event/gathering, I don't see many Tams there. I know there were less Saggys made but I even see more of these! Was wandering if anyone knows how many were made? Last I heard it was just shy of 200 but not sure how close this is? Any ideas anyone?

Cheers.

I always thought about 350.

Saggys are 125 but they do seem to be more common than Tams at meets.

I heard it was about 400 or so, but I agree with the apparent rarity. More saggies and T350s at meets.

So where are they? Are most Tamora drivers as shy and retiring as I am? Have they all migrated? Maybe don't bother with meetings and clubs as they're just too damned happy driving?

I think because it's a rag top many people don't use them too much especially when it rains which it does quite often now!. And most are second cars. I don't do "meets" never seen the point of them except "London Thunder" and I only saw 3 other Tams then. My Tam at present is in bits in the garage in hybernation (fluids out, brakes off, suspensions off, doors off, seats out) due to me being overseas. Mine wont see the light of day for at least another 2 years frown Unless I get sacked smile

I know what's going to happen now, this thread will turn into "how damaging it is to these cars if they arn't used" I agree but a full re-commision will be done in August 2009 and I'm expecting a big bill frown (the engine is turned over now and then)

So that's 1 less on the streets for a while.

It amazes me the lack of Tams at meets/events. Brooklands was a classic example, 250 TVRs and only 3 Tams! And it was boiling hot so the weather wasn't to blame. The old man to Rockingham in his crappy Tuscan loser (haha!) and said there weren't many Tams at all (about 20ish)! Where are they all?

I'm always out and about in my Tamora even when it's raining. It's far too much fun to be used as a 2nd car. Never been to a meet though, but will make an effort to get to the next one near London

I've never been to a meet because my car has been in and out of the garage and a lack of time. I can't wait to go to a meet and will be this weekend hopefully (the start of many I hope)wink

I'm at present looking to buy a Tamora so that I can take it to meets and fly the flag. Anybody know of a nice one going for less than £20k?

If you'd stop having the annual Tamora meeting at Gaydon and move ooop North a bit you might see more of them.

Mine's used all the time and been to several meetings.

We're a discerning bunch we Tam owners 'cos we know we've got the best kept TVR secret there will ever be.

Hi Richard
I heard that you have beaten me to it. I hope that you make it to the Ace tonight to show it off - I'll try not to get too green with envy.

Will be at the Ace tonight in the shy & retiring "lesser spotted Tamora"

Fairly late though - 9.15

Hoping for 'sunny spells' this evening!

Don't think it will be sunny at 21.15 - sunset tonight is 20.24 (in London anyway).
