New T350 owne's first impressions for what they are worth!
Discussion
At last my new baby has arrived, a T350 in reflex charcoal with black/cream leather interior i have finally found the car i was looking for, on a 55 plate and with the later upgrades including the boot release located in the number plate recess i am one happy man, the week delay to get the wheels redone in black was worth it as they offset the car very well and to say i'm happy with my new toy is an understatement!
I got back from Dream Machines about 30 minutes ago and i'm still reeling from the change in power delivery from my old Chimaera with the high reving and improved handling now all i have to do is work my way through all the little foibles like the error something or other saying the aircon isn't working and i've only driven 20 miles!!!
i suppose TVR ownership is always a giggle and those "little" bills for bits and pieces only add to the amusement
anyway now that she is parked up and resting for a short while whilst i decide on the most enjoyable routes out and about this evening i was thinking what the appeal of TVR's are and i think it was sumed up best by the crazy dutchman who flew over and bought my Chimaera, in his words, "THERE IS A SENSE OF OCCASSION AND EMOTION YOU DON'T GET WITH OTHER CARS!" I feel he had spot on!
Heres to another enjoyable relationship with a stunning car

Hi Andy,
Welcome to the T350 fold and look forward to seeing you at forthcoming Surrey TVRCC meeting, normally only one or two T350s that turn up so could do with another one to see off those Cerbera boys.
Would also be nice to see what changes they've made compared to my '03 car.
Aircon fault is a common fault code (whether it's on or off), normally a glitch, just cancel it. Yet another TVR quirk!

i will definately try and make a few meets this time around, i said i would make them with my old Chim but for one reason or another i would end up working or forgetting where i was meant to be going! no excuses now so i shall do my best to make the meets! i think most of the changes are pretty minor but i will bring the car along and you can see for yourself! best wishes and many thanks

Hi Andy,
Don't forget to update the picture on your profile! I think you'd be surprised the number of changes, the radiator is upright in the earlier cars, there's also a panel sealing off the front lights from radiator/engine bay, which reduces the amount of hot air drawn into the cabin. Sure there are more that I don't know of.
Surrey TVRCC meetings are 4th Thursday of the month at The Woolpack Inn in Elstead, GU8 6HD from 7.30pm onwards. A recurring reminder in my work calendar helps me to remember! But work travel often prevents me from getting to every meeting.
