Hi Guys, I was wondering if anyone could provide any info / advice / opinions!

I test drove another T350c at the weekend (potential purchase!). I was out in the car for about 40mins (with the aircon on). when returning back to base I noticed a puddle of water dripping from just behind the front passenger wheel area. The owner informed me that this was water from the aircon unit. Does this sound like a fault, or simply just a tvr quirk, it was dripping quite heavily, but not that much that it scared the crap out of me. Is this something that I would need to look into?

Hi, yeah that's correct, happens on mine, especially when it hot.

Sounds like aircon. If you're not sure, try standing with the air con turned off for a while, then switch it back on after checking under the car.

If you're uncertain that the a-con is turned on, check to see if the blue light near the fan switch is lit - it should be when the aircon is on. hehe

Serious head, it's not just a TVR thing, most cars with Aircon do the very same in hot weather and are working hard to do their job.

Don't know about dripping into footwell but mine occasionally spits water out of the dash vent at passengers when on full chat for a while!!! It would only take a slight gap in the vents behind the dash to result in the same water ending up on the floor. I reckon if you got under there with a torch you could probably see and then fix where the water was coming from. Big gaps between ducting is not uncommon on TVR's biggrin

Yep its OK;

Its the transparent tube that goes through the battery box from the aircon unit; that dribbles the water out;
make sure its located at the top or it might come through the passenger vent?

Totally agree no probs with dripping water.

Its simple pyhsics - cool air down and wates condenses out. Its prbably a good sign that the AC is getting very cold.
