While buying my new Sagaris (dogs b0llicks btw) I asked Harrogate Horseless Carriages how many were built by TVR. They said just under 100 are in existence, so we are in a pretty select group. Thought you'd like to know that....

Who holds the best register of Sags?

I'd heard it was more like 150 but either way, extremely rare and potentially collectable cars. That also happen to be superb fun to drive!

More than 100 without doubt. Getting close to 140 on the Register - possible it might get to 150.
Anyway - which one do you own (just checking it's not another 'new' one) ?

Truth is, there is no register as such.

What we have on PH is not concise. It's the best we have, done for no gain and a reasonable gallery, but without wishing to sound uncharitable, it's a list of cars based upon something that's changable and hardly unique.

Chassis numbers are what is needed for registering cars on a register. Nothing else will get you, eventually, where you need to be - and correctly recording losses..and registering Sagaris only - not hybrids that choose to adopt the name.

I'm very happy to keep a record of chassis numbers if owners are willing to divulge those to me in confidence unless everyone's happy to see them in the publc domain. Many of the owners are not on PH so areprobably unaware of what already exists. I guess it's down to the owners unless I can get hold of DVLA records or god forbid - factory info !

I agree 100% and hope my post was not seen as a criticism of the register - its not what was intended.

None taken. Just a little project to help me decide which one to buy - hopefully one day !!
