Missed picking it up on my birthday tho!!
Pick it up in portsmouth and drive it back to the midlands. Cant wait!

Enjoy it, there is nothing better than getting in it for the first time and driving it away. If its your first TVR be ready for the attention you will get, and take some painkillers to try and ease the face ache from all that smiling. Hope the weather is good for you.

Good choice. I also try and coincide new sports cars with my Birthday if at all possible. Picking up a TVR makes you feel like you are 8 again. Pure fun.
You will be grinning your face off by the time you get back. Expect some positive reactions from the general public too.
My Tamora is the 4th TVR I've owned and I love it.
Once you get comfortable with the car make sure you explore the rev range (safely) - once those revs get near the top it'll feel like you've hit the rocket boost. Your ears will try and encourage you to shift up early, trust the rev counter and the change up lights.

Which means i had to get out of her!
WOW it was the best weekend i have EVER had!! It was amazing!!
Ran like a dream from Portsmouth all the way to the Midlands via the M40 car park! (7 hours)
Looking forward to next weekend already!!
On my way to Alton Towers Sun I also managed to bump into the West Midlands TVR club! Third day out in mine (having never seen many in my area) and i see loads!
