TAMORA CLUTCH HOW MANY MILES SOULD IT DO
Discussion
Well, according to my Indie, the friction plates will last a looooooong time - assuming reasonably normal driving behaviour!!!
Wot will fail is the fingers that the clutch mechanisms press against to engage and disengage the plates. And when they fail, they'll take the slave cylinder with them. Benefit of this is if you have a warranty, you can get it fixed at their expense, as it's not a wear and tear failure - it's substandard component manufacture failure.
I'm on 20K on original clutch. The failure described above seems to happen from as low as 15k up to 30k - so just make sure the car has a decent warranty!!
Hope this helps

Replaced my early lodel at 17K and it was still fine.
They go at 20 to 30K depending on driving style.
Just heard of a Sag one being knackered at 9K
Replacement £1500 inc slave etc.
As long as it seems OK when you buy it you can do no more than take an educated gamble if a private sale or make sure warranty covers it if a dealer sale
