I have read that the T350 should be good for 175mph.
After owning mine for nearly a week now wink, I feel that figure is a tad optimistic, any views? scratchchin
Still love it to bits biggrin

Thats about right. Speedos are strangely accurate in these cars and I've had mine to 165 without too much effort on an Autobahn.

2000 tuscan, indicated 160 still pulling like a train with 2000 ish rpm to go, but had to slow for a corner up ahead.

this was obviously not done in the UK and on a derestricted road

171 past Cologne on clear 'bahn, on Road Angel, with maybe a little more to come .... the slippery body shape is a lot better than most, and surprisingly felt just as settled in a straight line as at 100mph.

Bcensoredy noisy though! Just once was enough biggrin

Had mine up to about 160 on an airfield and it had more... I think it would do the 175 no problems

sorry to resurrect, but what about the top speed on a Tam?

aerodynamics slipperly enough? also, are the added lips etc useful for downforce or purely cosmetic?

I cruised to 265kph on a private road in France. Was still pulling away but the seal at the top of the windscreen started to lift up.

With the roof on it would easily beat that. So 170+

Dyno top speed run at 174, real life on an autobahn at 170, but not someting you would want to do everyday. The 350 is a slippery shape. Would outgun a Sag top end, but before you all pile in that would depend on aero, diff , box etc and thats been done to death

Blimey, you lot are brave.
I've done an indicated 170mph in my E60 M5 on an autoahn and it was as stable as a rock.
The most I managed in my T350 was 145 though, and it was bloody terrifying - it felt like it was going to blow up!

Agreed. My 3.6 RR pulls close to 160mph in 4th gear and I reckon 5th gear would add at least 20-25mph on to that.
