My nearest TVR service place is at Barnet, but unfortunately, though they're a great bunch, as a dealer they no doubt charge dealer prices! Can anyone recommend anywhere else that's not too far for me to take my T350. Or maybe you can convince me that the dealers don't actually charge much more than the indies...

Used to use David Batty and Top Cats for my Chim - both an hour away which was a pain!

Hi Tobeee, I'm only just down the road from St Albans and I'm having the same dilemma myself. Good bunch of guys at Barnet, can be a bit pricey but they are close by and very helpful. Anyway if its any help Ive decided to use Levens for servicing my cerb (for now anyway) and its going in Wednesday, fingers crossed should be straight forward.

There about an hours drive away which is bit of a pain but they do have a free courtesy car.

Quite impressed with there workshop and the fact that they only work on one car at a time. Decent bunch of guys there Dan and Simon really seem to know there stuff, everything is upfront, written estimate for any works you want carried out. they do get busy though which is a good sign anyway that's about all i know at the moment don't know if that helps good luck.

Thanks for the tip Lee. I'll investigate levens. What's the deal with the courtesy car? That could be a clincher for me as it means I don't have to get my wife to ferry me there each time.

By the way, I had a look at your profile, and your face looks quite familiar. Think I might have seen you and yer mates rampaging around St.Albans at the weekend when the pubs turn out! hehe
