evo magazine needs your T350
Discussion
We are compiling another of our comprehensive buying guides, this time on the T350 and we'd like your help. Firstly we need a car in the next couple of weeks to be photographed in a studio (probably near Norwich), this car would then be the main focus of the feature and we'll provide you with a lovely lunch and a set of prints for your wall.
We'd also like to hear from as many of you with your ownership experiences and any hints and tips you'd give to someone considering buying one.
Please email me at rogerg@evo.co.uk
Many thanks,
Roger Green

@claire, do you know how many pre-prduction sagaris were made? i know of one in switzerland in silver grey with red inside and open vents. chassis no. xxx003. build date 24.2.2004.
peter
Mine is the 1st Sag off the line and is the Pre-Production model.peter
The 2nd one off the line (grey shown at MPH) was smashed up / written off was just a development car.
After that I don't know. I suspect they would have made another development car to replace the grey one as mine is an expensive paint job should it be scratched / smashed in testing etc etc.

Claire, when you said you were getting a Sag, you neglected to mention it was THE Sag..!
ack, you know me Podie - always the best and plus its in keeping with my TVR Traditional Roots by having a development car.Claire

Podie - Thats what I thought
he will be propping up the bar and shaking his head at me but inside thinking "Thats my girl"
Brem - All my id plates are hidden away due to it being a show car. I know what my chassis number is but its not xxx01. TVR didn't work like that when it came to numbering, it could have been Cerb (01), Chim (02), Cerb (03), T350 (04), Sag (05) on the line and each car would have the next number in the sequesnce as per my very bad example above.

thank you claire, i just try to find out what history this car has. it looks like this is not the car from the mph show because it's build date is february 2004. i think this car was build same specs as the show car and was used for development. today the car has the "new" rear and the bonnet opens in one piece like the latest cars.
would be interesting if someone has more information on this car.

Brem, Like I mentioned, the 2nd sag (MPH Show car) was written off, so it will not surprise me if TVR build another one similar to that and used it as more a development car than mine - again Gerbil wouldnt let them do much due to the paint job on mine. would be interesting if someone has more information on this car.
peter
You may want to mail Gerbil via PH - he may know more about the car.

Thank you to all those who emailed me, we've now got a car for the photoshoot. Mind you we're still interested to hear your comments on the T350. By the way can anyone tell me how many T's and C's were produced?
Approx. 250 in total, maybe someone else knows breakdown between T's & C's?
Just sent you my experiences of the T350 - hope it helps.
Is there a T350 buying guid place where I can also post my experiences of the T350? or shall I just post it seperately for future reference. Hopefully it will be of use in the future.
