That's twice now... This time some damage - so frustrating. I hate imperfection in my Tiv.
You know the ones though, where you are going forward into a parking bay and approaching the embankment, think you are sticking out at the rear so nudge yourself in another 2 inches and....CRUNCH! There's the high kerb!

and this time slightly cracked the body of the car (below the numberplate). You can't see it from just looking at the car but I dont want the crack to expand.

I'd be reluctant to spend a fortune on major body surgery in an area of the car that literally cannot be seen so does anyone have any ideas? obviously paint is the big issue but is there any type of fiberglass bond or something that can seal up the small crack and then maybe get a proper paint job on it when I come to sell the car (eventually!)

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Someone cracked the back of my chim last year and it hsnt spread, but if someone clobbered the Sagaris I would get it done ASAP as well as hunting down the person that did it.

I know a very good guy in the NW if you want to get it done, the rear diffuser is there now.

Yes and No. Yes Torque are good but the paint guy isnt at Torque although he does a lot of work for them and is a 5 min drive away. He was just voted to be in the top 5 paint / repair guys in the UK by a paint manufacturer (cant remember wich - it was about 5am when I was told laugh)

He is really good, restores old & valuable cars.

Claire,

Would you be kind enough to forward me his details. I will say that it was you who referred me. Is he near Blackpool? I am in Manchester.

Hiya

Nope, I will check its ok with Colin to give out his mobile, if not you can contact him via Ian @ TorqueRVT 01606 831 244

If you send me details ie number and maybe a picture (if the car is damaged) I can send them onto him first so he has some idea of what to expect when you call.
