I'd have to agree. Too many modern cars have far too much grip, which only disappears in the worst conditions then everyone grinds to a halt or falls off. IMO best, and most fun, to carefully find the limits in all conditions and what warning signals the particular car gives you, then can have fun and stay safe.
My T350 was outstanding fun in snow last year, whereas my earlier TVRs were... er ...tricky.
