The wiper in front of the driver on my Tam has its washer hose coming off at fairly regular intervals. It once did it in the summer when i accidently hit the wash/wipe (with the hood down) and I got covered with washer fluid!

Today on a long run it came off twice when using it to clear the salt muck.....anything I can do to secure it.

I guess it needs to move a bit due to the arc of the wiper arm?

The end of the hose had perished on mine and so kept coming off when i used the wash/wipe. Went to halfords and bought some new washer hose and some zip tie thingys for a couple of quid.
Dead easy to do and they squirt like champions now!!
Maybe yours just needs a slightly longer hose and secured with zip ties?

HTH!

Is this a just a Standard Halfords off the shelf pack ?
Mine is ready for replacing.
How is the new pipe coping with the engine heat ?
I think this is what's perishing the original stuff so quickly,

I bought some nice coloured silicon pipe in my local aquatic center (used for air pumps in tropical tanks).

Yeah, just their standard washer hosing. They sell two tube thicknesses, can't remember what size it takes so probably worth measuring the tube before you buy!
I think it's clear silicone, similar to the aquatic stuff alan got by the sounds of it.
It seems to be coping with the heat fine so far, and shouldn't perish as much as the original rubber ones.

Chris.
