Morning all, I had the bonnet off last night to give it a good clean. Had a poke around and was amazed at how bad the fit of the airbox is around the throttle body 'o' seals. (especially cylinders 1 and 2). I had a bit of a fiddle but couldn't get it any better. Is this normal?
you can get it better by repositioning the bottom half and fiddling with it for hours. but its still not perfect. if you want an air tight fit it'll cost you £1000 for a carbon fibre one.
They really are awful. They are geneerally not even square and they fracture very easily as the material choice is poor and the supports twist the casings.
