NEW 18" WHEELS FOR A TAMORA NEED ADVICE

hi all, two of my 18" spiders are bent, causing vibration at 80mph so i have a option to try and find some secondhand or new,

cost would be anything from £100 to £560 for a pair !

so should i be looking at getting four new wheels "not tvr spiders" that may look better and are not as soft for anything from £500-£1000

has anyone changed there wheels if so what make did you go for and was it an improvement and did it make the car look better ?

Good old chocolate spiders, never understood why they were fitted to any TVR myself .... oh yeah they were £60 a pop to TVR and £250 to you .

There are plenty of different quality replacement types out there all better quality and tougher than spiders. It really depends on individual tastes 'Silverstone TVR' do direct replacements as do 'ACT' and I don't doubt others.

Personally I like the look and undoubted quality of Compomotive MO6's, check 'L1offs' Sag in them, although I am looking at them from a Cebera RL7 replacement standpoint .

I had to have one replaced a few years back and pretty sure it only cost about£120 brand new, but not too sure how easy it is to get spares no adays.

Changed the spiders on my T350 for Silverstone SP12's - I've been very impressed with them and I think they look better than the spiders. ACT do some nice looking wheels also.

Try a search for Works wheels they do a set that looks very similar to spiders. Daftlad has a set, I think
