Trading in the T350 for a Sag - couple of questions

Dear All,

Looking at trading in the T350 for a Sagaris - went to see a Sagaris the other day and has prompted a couple of questions that hopefully you fellas in the know can help me out with.

1) Never really liked the look of the 18" spiders on a sagaris but really liked the look of the 19" wheels that were put on the blue sagaris shown at the 2006 motorshow. (i would up load a photo but can't find out how......). If there is anyone out there who thinks they know the wheels that I am on about, do you know if these can be bought from anywhere or who the supplier is? (i've tried asking TVR Power and Racing Green but without much success)

2) Perhaps a daft question but here goes........On the Sagaris I looked at, rather than the floor of the boot being flat there were two 'lumps' in the boot (one each next to the wheel arches). My T350 has a flat boot floor - what is hidden under carpet of a Sagaris that is not in a T350?? Or was the Sagaris that I looked at a bit different??

I think all sagaris have these 'lumps' in the boot where the suspension is slightly different in the rear and requires more space.

not sure which wheels your on about though.

Anything with a bigger rolling radius than the original 255/35/18 tyres is likely to foul in the wheel arches as the originals can/do.


The sag suspension is different on the chassis, hence the boot floor protrusions

I have a set of 19's for mine, make sure tyres are 255/30/19.

Thanks a lot for the response - now I understand the reasons for the 'lumps'!!

Regarding the alloys, Racing Green look to have come up trumps therefore have my answer on that one.
