New owner questions (sorry) ?

Evening all.
Had the car for a week now Love it alot... Few questions which im sure all you people are sick of hearing but here goes.
1 - I'm not happy with the engine noise seems abit piston slappy at cold and ticking noise even when warmed up the ticking noise increases with the revs. Everyone I get to listen reckons im been paranoid which is prob true as it was serviced last week and had the warranty check. Engine has done 5200 miles and its a 55 plate. Any thoughts? I am ment to be doing a 200 mile round trip on Wed but slightly worried what do you reckon?
2 - Drivers window got stuck down earlier when I went into pub. Came out drove of and it worked again?
3 - Oil pressure drops very low when coming to a stop after gving it some, but is fine if i stop after a slow drive?
4 - The famous fuel. My tank was empty (i know this as I have a sagaris dash ECU in mine whilst mine is been re done and the fuel guage is 10 litres or so out) anyway tank completly empty. Filled up fine untill i got to 36 litres, had put 5 litres from a can in and couldnt get any more. Book says 56 litre tank so where does the rest go besides on my leg and down the side of the car???
I think thats it for now. Would love some response to question 1 before I drive a long way on wed!

1. Depends upon how loud the noise is I'd say. Does it sound a bit like an electric sewing machine (as crazy as it sounds!)Has it been rebuilt or had any work done that you are aware of. My thoughs would be to just monitor the condition, however dont let it put you off the drive and the car, its probably nothing at all. I remember when I first got mine the first week your overwhelmed with it all, then as you get used to the sound of the engine its easy to become paranoid by anyting that sounds different to what you were used to. If it was the autoprotect warranty check its a very thorough and detailed check (or at least mine was at henley heritage), so that should have picked up any issue mechanically.
2. They can be buggers, cant help you on that one but theres loads of info on here so juts do an advanced search.
3. Cant help there mate.

A bit late for your journey on Wednesday but if it helps:
1. These engines are more noisy then most other 6 cylinder units especially when cold. To put your mind at rest you could go to one of the TVRCC meetings in your area and listen to other S6's.
2. Just a question but did the windows self close when you locked it? Otherwise afraid i have no suggestions.
3. Once the engine has warmed up the oil pressure does drop a lot, from what you've said it doesn't sound like anything to worry about.
4. Afraid i can't help with this. Mine is pretty good - the buzzer sounds when 4 litres left and gets to 52 litres when absolutely full.

I think i was just been paranoid with the engine to used to my Audi TT and Honda motorbike.
The window problem happened again last night and i found out that the window switch only works upwards if the door is closed. Not sure if its a problem but it makes sense due to the windows dropping etc etc. any way im happy.
Oil pressure had different stories but the garage are going to have a look and change some sensors if need!
