How often do you drive your TVR? and do you leave them on charge.

Whats best?

Once in a blue moon.Its on charge 24 hours a day (optimate).Then its ready to go when needed.

Relax Chris, a sound car should be able to stand 3 to 4 weeks without drives or optimates (but these cahrgers are a help).

My advice? If you're going to leave it for more than a few weeks, hook it up to an optimate.

Yep Optimate. Standard equipment for bikers (ever tried bump starting a bike...). You will never have a flat battery again and easy peasy to use.

3-4 weeks between outings at the moment. Mine won't get out before 12th Jan or so (assuming I make it home with all the BAA strike threats - I'm supposed to fly into LHR on 6th). Still Hawaii weather beats home

Mine lives on an Optimate connected through the lighter socket. Keeps the battery topped up. Batteries still get old and die though - so plan to change every 4 years or so.
