THINKING OF JOINING TVRCC

hi,had my tam now for just over 3 months and enjoying it !
how many of you are members to the tvr club and whats the benefits , should i join up ?
i live at bishops stortford hertfordshire and wondered which area would be my local club meet

not sure about anything else but its definatly worth the money just for the magazine

In addition to the excellent magazine you also get discounts on part's servicing & insurance, which can more than cover the annual subscription.

The TVRCC gets you in touch with the right people and you save
Insurance (saved me £240)
Parts (10%disc)

You find out when all the TVRCC main are events too.

Oh, and its a good read for a few of hours!

Try logging onto http://www.tvr-car-club.co.uk/ and then selecting 'Your Region' at the top.

If you are a member of the RAC, and want to be cynical, the amount you save on renewal is more than the cost of joining the TVRCC!

Oh and you meet lots of lovely people, Sprint mag, discounts etc. I would do it if I were you.

Hampshire is a bit far from Hertfordshire!
Your local region is actually the Herts and Beds group www.tvrcc-herts-beds.co.uk - the RO posts on PH as Grumpy Bear (but he isn't grumpy usually). They meet at or near Baldock on a Sunday lunchtime once a month.

Mid Essex will be your best bet. They meet at Great Totham in the Forrester's golf club every 2nd Sunday of the month.

Peter Reece is red leader and Pauline Frost (Yellow Peril) is the editor come head mistress.

Very nice and friendly club with lots of active members and only 45min run from B/S.

The benifits of joining the TVRCC, to many to mention.

V18TVR thanks for the info ive met the crew at mid essex at a car show last year and they were real nice people !
are you sure it would only take 45 mins from bishops stortford it seems quite a trek looking at the map

M11,M25,A12 Quick route in a TVR.

You can cut across the A414 if you want? I would go along A120 to Dunmow then A130 to Chelmsford, meet up with the crew at The White Hart and convoy to the meet from there. Like Mark said it only takes about 45mins to get there.
