Red Rose

Just got a T350 and now seen an advert of the car in evo its the white one, as says its a red rose i was not aware it was is their a way of telling, i was told only it a red rose exhaust + break upgrade ?

Brakes & Exhaust upgrade, engine balanced & blueprinted (allegedly), lighter body (allegedly), adjustable suspension (not sure about this ?).

Hi Simon no not sure myself, bought car befor xmas guy said its got a factory fitted big bore redrose exhaust + brake upgrade, he was not sure about gearbox ratio. i am going to try and find the garage who supplied her and see if they have a build sheet,

Its the one from SSSC ? That IMHO is the best looking T350 interior/ exterior colour combo I have ever seen. Excellent well done!

Hi Robert thanks for that yes its the white one colour is better when you see it seems to have purple and gold in it,
and by the way your sag looks fantastic to,
I am trying to find the build sheet for car as i am not sure of the spec
as i said the advert for car says its got a RR exhaust system and i have spoke to a few people who have told me their would be no reson for this unless it is a Red rose, ilet you know our i get on.

You will not be dissapointed with a 350, but check the spec, if its red rose it should say on the ECU under the drivers footwell, build sheet will confirm.
Also worth checking as 04 build cars did not have the additional expansion tank on the drivers side of the engine bay. Red Rose should also have bigger exhaust manifold and and bigger rear silencer. C/R Gearbox should be fitted and check diff ratio. C/R box and standard diff is IMHO too tall a ratio.

As above and agree the build spec sheet is your best bet for confirmation but the ECU also will tell you. The C/R box was an option on the Red Rose and was offered as an alternative to the lightweight (Vinylester) body so dont be put off if it doesnt have the C/R box, it could still be a proper Red Rose.

no red rocker cover, but my Tuscan did have it written in felt tip pen though

Hey Paul,
Mine just has the plain finish rocker cover...the block on mine has RR stamped on the side along with another number, other people have seen also this on their engine too..might be worth a look. Knowing TVR, if they didnt have red covers available they would just substitute it with anything else that was to hand !

Heads off to find permanent marker pen and apply a Red Rose upgrade...

RR in felt tip on engine block means Remove Rebuild I was told at factory.Red Rose specked factory cars were very few in numbers.
I own a factory RR Tamora one of only five built not sure about other model numbers.My car has full blue printed engine 38O BHP larger big bore exhaust between engine and rear box,larger disc brakes (Tuscan S)upgraded shocks,and revised injectors
Resulting in a much smoother running engine and more urge over 3500rpm sticks to the road like nothing else with handling to match. it was not supplied with red camcover either.

If its got RR written in indelible ink on your block its probably because its had a rebuild
