two new tyres at the rear ... £220 for a pair of goodyear f1s, brilliant pice i was thinking.
so then i thought hmmm oil, aint checked that in a while (could they put it in a harder place to check?) looks low so top , thing is the dodgy angle, big oil can left me putting to much oil in.
just a little over the bottom of the neck on the tank. bugger i thought.
any how driving down the road POOOOOOF smoke screen !!!!! no change in oil pressure or power just a 2 second jet streem of smoke (anti gasto?)
been fine ever since.
what was that all about ? to much oil you think ?

sounds like too much oil and then when you take a left hand bend at speed, it spills out of the breather vent and you have a smoke screen....

I bought a funnel with a long flexible hose.
Wilko's special only a few pounds.
Going to get another to use on the washer reservoir also.
Makes topping up oil without spilling all over the engine alot easier.

Where did you get the tyres from? Were they front or backs?

C&S TYRES boro . fantastic , always have been .
235 / 40 / 18 goodyear f1s too . all in valve dump old ones and all the rest of that crap that other tyer places add on.
i was after a tyre before and got quoted £80 ! rang them up and it was £40 , not only that but he said that the other tyre place had just rang him to see if he had that tyre in for them to pick up!!!!

yup left hander it was . was kinda cool , but did scare the pants out of me !!!

Are you sure about the size 235/40/18, because my Tuscan has 245/40/18 size tyres on the rear. If they are £220 for a pair, that is really cheap.
