Advice needed on selling my T350t

Hi,

In the next few months i will be putting my T350t up for sale. I was wondering if i would be better off advertising the car for sale on here or just part exchanging it with a garage? I guess i would loose a few thousand by part exchanging which isnt really up my street!
Also could someone give me a rough idea of the cars value. The spec is below:-

T350t
2004/54
13,000 roughly
Reflex Charcoal - Beautiful Colour!
Air Con
FTVRSH - 3 year service just completed
Armourfend front end, mirrors etc

Rough list of replacements over the years:-

2x rear tyres the last 500 miles
Radiator
Water Sensors
Battery
Rear exhaust hanging brackets
Centre exhaust
etc etc

If you could give me a rough idea of a price it would be much appreciated

IIWY i'd be putting it up for £23k with the aim to get £20k.

If you are keen to sell I think it is best to check what the car is worth as a p/ex and then add about 15% to sell privately. It is always difficult to price TVR's as they are rare and if there is someone out there after your particular colour then you could get a little more. Either way, you need to be advertising privately at least 10% less than a dealer would have the car up for in my opinion.

I'd try for private sale from March onwards, you can always p-ex after a few months if you have no luck. Dealer bids will be on the very low, bordering on the insulting side.

I think you should service it, MOT it, and stick some kind of warranty on it before you try to sell privately.

Price the guys have given seems about right.

Many thanks for the emails. Depending on the weather i will be taking some more pics of the car this weekend for you. Once i have i will forward these onto you asap.
I will be looking to sell the car late Feb/early March time. The only thing i need to do is remove the private plate via the dvla!

We all know what a T350 looks like. Pictures are good for a private sale though.

(anyone notice how so many private sales on PH don't show the drivers seat bolsters? Mostly other cars with leather seats, not TVRs).
