Clearance for a T350

I'm considering having a parking bollard installed at my property however these have a 6 inch or 15cm height when flat...

does anyone know the clearance height of a T350?

11cm on mine. Just makes it over the 10cm speed mountains on my road.

What sort of system are you putting in place?

I`m considering much the same for the Sagaris but as far as I know the clearance at front is only 8.5cm

It says on the specs 10cm.

Not sure what its called, the management company suggested it. One of those collapsable units that folds down under the car

Ahh rite, I was sourcing one that drops into the ground (out of 50 car parking spaces in our apartment block mine happens to be the only one with an existing 'drop' but no bollard)

If you find one that sits ultra low please let me know!

I tried parking over one of those once in my Chimaera.

There was a loud bang and I decided to park elsewhere.

I assume that for either of these there has to be a significant element of digging so is it not possible to recess the bit that is left poking up?

If is one that lays flat when you dig the hole can you not dig it a bit deeper and dig a channel for the bollard itself when flat? The whole thing would sit flush with the ground when not locked in place.

If it is the one that drops vertically down you could do the same, instead of the assembly sitting at drive level make a recess the size of a box of Terry's All Gold and stick it in that so again the top of any sticky up bits are level with the drive when dropped.

Obviously this does mean someone has to lift the car by 10cm less vertically to get it over the bollard, still can't have it all.

The bottom one looks the trick, have emailed pic to mgt company to see what extortionate price they come up with for one
